Question on barcode transactional interfacing with filePro

Hello All, 

We have a client with a seasoned filepro manufacturing management system 
and we are exploring the possibility of adding some bar code scanning 
capability for status contract and management.  Would like to see if there 
is anyone who has interfaced a filepro system (5.7 on ubuntu) with 
something like a Motorola MC3100 series or other wireless scanning 
devices.
