use of colors on screen

People can always use the "show" command in conjunction
with \B and \Fx during @entsel.

show ("3","6") "\B3     \B1"    
			     ^^^^^ being the # of spaces in the field

But not dynamically.  You have to paint a static layout, and you're stuck with that layout.  You can't have a balance field that's usually one colour, and then if the balance is negative, force it to shift to a red background.

In that fashion, it's quite limited control you can achieve.
