I'll bite, Walter. I'm one of those users who were first introduced to
Profile on Xenix, in
mid-1985, on a model 16 HD, eventually connected via modem to
barcode-reading
model 100s in 2 satellite stores. My boss didn't lay out for the
sturdy steel
furniture, but I was perfectly happy with the exact presswood pieces
you mention above.
Fun times to be a new CSE graduate, having studied mostly on Honeywell
Multics,
and to get my mind further molded on Xenix - a precursor to 30 years of
Profile/Filepro
programs running on every version of **ix since then.
