Thank you Ken Brody and Jay Ashworth, the "Start" command was the missing
key. It works!@!!! I had failed to mention that this is in fp 5.0 in a
Windows 7 environment. filePro is still the GREATEST!

You can't execute a PDF. If you want to open the file, use the "start"
command, as in "start c:\temp\filename.pdf".
