Don't take offense if Kenneth considers you abrasive. Most of us have
had real good dealings with you, and I don't recall anybody else ever saying
anything derogative about you, Bob. (At least nothing more than the usual
flame wars...)
All of us filePro developers can certainly understand that you are in a
niche business and not being able to buy and sell other companies at the
drop of a hat, like Bill Gates can.
As far as room for a telnet product, I would say that about 99% of my
terminal users are small business owners on private (NAT) LANs, so telnet
terminal emulators are just fine for their needs. I don't know that you
need to run to your shop tomorrow morning and release a telnet-only version
of Anzio just so you can trim the price $2.00 a seat. But if all you were
offering was a telnet-only product, it would still work for most of my
customers. Just don't remove the serial capabilities! I still have
customers who need serial emulation!!!
