Can the mailing list accept images/pdf?

You can also attach an image.  (Not an image pasted into a PDF, but the 
actual image.)  The mailing list manager will strip the image from the post, 
but it will include a link at the bottom of the message to let you view the 
image.

I don't know if the list manager automatically rejects PDF files, or just 
held it for approval.
