OT: what is a good simple Linux to use for for linux 5.0.14D4

CentOS 6.x 64-bit minimal install, with:

yum groupinstall "Compatibility libraries".

You need to do that for termcap and 32-bit.

Don't go with CentOS 7.  It was only released 2-3 weeks ago or so, and
can't be anywhere near ready for prime time.  6.x is several years old, but
good for another six years.
