Well, if it runs in only 3 seconds w/o processing, but runs slower and 
slower (until it eventually "stops altogether") with processing, then it's 
obviously something in the processing that's doing it.

You say "not much processing", but you don't tell us what it is, so we can't 
even venture a guess beyond "there's *something* in the processing that's 
causing it".

P.S. Could you please change your e-mail user name from "FilePro List" to 
something more meaningful for the rest of us?
