OT: Dead Hard drive

A friend asked if I knew of a reliable company which can retrieve data from a dead hard drive.

The drive is about 8 years old and the owner would like to get the pictures off the drive.

I have been advised that price is not a factor.

Please don't comment on backing up a drive.  This person was advised to do so and didn't listen.
