records not locking?

I've never heard of such a thing happening on anything other than the 
ancient non-network MS-DOS version of filePro.  There's no such thing as a 
non-network Windows version, and there hasn't been an MS-DOS version since 
long before 5.0 came out.

Are your two dclerk sessions on the same Windows box, or two different ones? 
  Are the filePro files stored locally, or a network drive?  If network, 
what is the host?
