records not locking?

So even going straight to a record in that file in dclerk, you can get two 
people in update mode at the same time?

If you update the record (just one person, please), do the changes get saved?

It could be that, in copying the files to the new drive, you may have 
somehow set them to read-only.  (I have seen this, for example in cases 
where you back up to CD, and then copy the files back off the CD.)

Normally, filePro would give you a warning that the files are read-only, but 
if you have PFREADONLYWARNING=OFF, you won't get any such warning.
