Windows 7 compatibility issue

Ken,
I have installed Fp 4.1 on my system and assume that that version of p.exe will not run on my system. Would p.exe from my 5.6 or 5.7 work with 4.N ?
I may start to run into this issue with clients on 4.5 who will not upgrade as their business is hanging in by a thread or the are nearing or passed retirement age and are now doing some business just to keep busy.
