Memo xx Import

Is there a way to use a field # in the memo xx import command.

When I try " memo fldno import mfile ", I'm getting the dread "*** segmentation violation" error,
And the attempt of " memo (fldno) import mfile " won't pass the syntax check.

Any ideas ?
