Windows system:

Is there an easy way of allowing a user to copy a memo from one record to another while entering new records.  I am using the memo field to type indirection to an event location and it is possible that there will be more than one event at the location and I would like them to be able to post in the information from the previous record similar to using the F5 function.

1. Can I do a lookup to the previous record, by record @, and import the memo field?

2. I know that I can use copy and paste but this requires 2 steps by the user. - First to Copy the directions in the memo field and then paste them in to the new record.  Yes this is still faster then re-typing them.


I tried mo(16,memo,g) in auto processing and that did not work.  On the initial record setting mo=14 (the memo field) worked, mo had the value of the of the memo field.  Once in the new record mo was blank.
