menu passwords

Thank you to those who responded. These responses led me in the right direction.

To remove the password on Windows.

1. copy the menu to a new name
2. open with an editor such as notepad++ where you can see the first string on the first line.
3. Delete this string which is just before the menu title.
4. enter a single space to move everything to the right one space
5. Save the file
6. Open in filepro Define User Menus
7. If a password is requested, go back to the editor and remove the single space added and save. Repeat step 6
8. If no password is requested, you may need to edit the menu command lines and any batch files created.

I found with one menu that everything had shifted on space right and the second, everything had shifted one space to the left.

This was still faster than recreating these 2 menus.
