Here's a weird termcap problem

Just noticed, in doing some desktop cleanups on a 5.0.13 client on Linux,
that if you try to start the d* programs in an xterm that's less than 80x24,
they segfault.

Once you get them started, you can shrink the window, and they'll stay
running, though they do have some repaint problems.  But you have to have a 
large enough viewport or they won't start at all.
