While Scripsit was far superior to WordPerfect, WordPerfect was
far superior to Word for Windows at the time. I got a phone call
once where the caller's first words were "I want Reveal Codes".
We sold our first mission-critical Linux system to a law firm in
September 1997 where it was the central file and print server to
a bunch of Windows machines. The office manager was a very
competent legal secretary, and she hated being forced to use
MS-Word instead of WordPerfect, saying it cut their productivity
by more than 50%.

Sounds about the same vintage as my 3.2v4.2 server which is
sitting in the rack with my old Xenix box. The last time either
of these were booted was about 1/1/2000 to see what they would do
with the dates.
