I have a couple of laptop bags that make it easier to get through the
Thieves and Sexual Assaulters (TSA) lines less painful.

One is a relatively small Targus bag with one side for the laptop, the
other for things like papers, my iPad, etc., and it unfolds to lie flat
with the laptop on one side. The other is a roll-aboard which has a
compartment for the laptop which is then in its own zipper bag with a
handle that makes it very easy to pull the laptop out. The big bag tends
to get examined though as I have lots of stuff in it, a WAP, portable HP
color printer, network cables, and all the stuff I need when going on-site.

My gut feel is that it won't work well without a real keyboard as function
keys, ctrl-keys and such tend to be difficult to use on touch screens.
