OT: 1Tb flash drive

I was reading the business section of the New York Times about CES. 

One item highlighted is a 1Tb USB 3.0 flash drive.  That's a lot of storage
in a very small package.  The only problem is the price $1,750.

I think I'll wait 6 months or so until the price comes down to a more
reasonable level :).

That little drive holds more than the 240 GB SSD I recently install in my
laptop. 

One could run a fairly large database off a drive like this.  I wonder if
they will develop software to have a USB drives run in a raid configuration?
