This week in filePro

In other news this week after exactly 17 years our public facing shopping
cart based on filePro went dark.

It's now all MS-SQL and ASP.net that the public sees. (Actually there are a
few pages that have <iframe> content driven by MySQL and php, but most of
the lifting is SQL server.)

 

No more perl scripts and filePro glued together. It took a very robust
solution to displace a bedrock solid engine that was engineered almost 18
years ago. I had brown hair then.

 

Now to start engineering the android and IOS app.
