Richard Kreiss propounded (on Fri, Dec 20, 2013 at 05:53:58AM +0000):

| Just want to know if this action is correct:
|
| I have a report totaling on field 9 defined as (9,,2) using =9 at the
| grand total.
|
| When the report is run the total is larger than the field is defined.
| However it does print properly as 50,083,525.00 which is (13,,2).
|
| This is helpful as the totals print correctly although larger than the
| field definition.

Did you just now stumble on totals that comprise more digits than any of
the addends?

I'm always grateful that we never need to write any processing for
subtotals and totals because filePro's totalling mechanism behaves
so gracefully.

Every time I'm on a web site and I have to enter a phone number in three
separate fields or in one ten-character field, or I get rejected if I
use dashes when typing Social Security or Tax ID numbers, I once again
appreciate the elegance of filePro edits.

While I'm on the topic of web pages, am I the only one who resents
having to scroll through a column with a mouse instead of just typing
the two characters of my state?
