Hiding formats

I like it.  I would not usually hide things but in the situation where 
it is necessary, I can easily see that they might be overlooked.

For the same reason I keep PFCHECKLOCK set to show me lock issues on my 
system.  It improves the resulting programming when I am reminded of 
things that critical.
