Personally I dislike screens with many colors, preferring simple
black text on light background.
I do change the background colors on an accounting application
depending on the company, LightSkyBlue in one and AntiqueWhite3
on the other so it's easy to be sure I'm in the correct one.
The only time I turn on color syntax highlighting in the 'vim'
editor is when I'm trying to figure out where I left off a
closing quote in shell scripts.
