Well, in this particular case, I know which index I used, so I suppose I
could in fact hard-wire the lookup -, now that you suggest that. I think
newer versions actually tell you which index is active in a sysvar, but
alas, this site's on 4.8, and I don't know that I can sell an upgrade at
the moment.
And in practice, I've never recommended that my clients upgrade past
5.0.14 anyway, for reasons that are intuitively obvious to the most
casual observer who's ever been locked out of their software at 0330
on a Sunday morning.
