Walter,
You can always set pfkeytab=DOS which will have the function keys act more
MS like. F1 becomes help, F10-save.
Now, I referring to Windows based systems. I have no idea what if any
effect this will have on a *nix system.
You can always mention to your class that filePro has been around longer
then Windows/DOS and when developed, there were no standards for what
function a function key executed.
I seem to recall that some terminals allowed for programming there function
keys. Most programs, as I recall, did their own thing with the function
keys. i.e. Scripsit and MultiPlan.
