clear/flush @bk

Is there a way to clear the value of @bk?

E.g. msgbox presents a Y/N question. Answer is N.
Next field presents the same question.
@bk already filled with N.

I know an input popup could be used and then the var could be cleared. 
Is that recommended or is there a way to clear the value of @bk (other 
then exiting processing).
