Counting Licenses

One.
Open a clerk session and call either clerk or report, the license IS NOT CHARGED. one system call or 100 system calls, 1 user session.
Open a new clerk or report session in another window, the license count is decreased again.
If you are on*nix this us a change from the old licensing. Prior to 5.6 this would have been a 3 user count. For *nix users the new licensing in many cases requires a lower user count.
Again, this is a session count. Rub IUA or a report and the license is hit. Run a report from an IUA process, still only one.
Many of us do this type of programming , use clerk to create our own report menu and options. You may want the ability to use a browse lookup to select criteria and the system out to run the report passing the criteria to a -v select process. Still only 1 session.
Open 5 windows and run clerk or report in each window, 5 hits to the license even if one if those report sessions starts from IUA.
I hope this clears thing up for you
