Upgrading to latest Filepro version

I have been running filepro 5.0.09DN9 for a long time and was just
thinking of upgrading to get the use of more indexes. The reason I have
not upgraded up to this point is because of what filepro did with the
licensing. I understand why they wanted to change it but I just don't
understand how it would work with the below scenario.

If I use one dclerk at my login screen and that initiates a system
command using dclerk and then from there, another system command using
dclerk without ever exiting any of the previous processes, how does the
licensing handle this? Would filepro know that I am still only one user.

All of the terminals login to windows server 2003 using rdp.

Oh yea, I just read something about a licensing manager. I thing it was
something about using it or not. If that's the case, why would that even
be an option?

Thanks,
Mike Fedkiw
