Not sure how you could misread this:
If you only are using it for sending requests and getting a reply and then
shutting the socket down, it usually is very quick and available for someone
else
It says shutting the socket down, never says closing the filepro process.
Additionally, odd that you even need a socket just to make a client
connection to a server. The server can count correctly when a socketclose()
function is used.

Or the question and/or answer were poorly worded?
Offlist, he told me that he "was told the sockets were reusable after they
were closed", which is technically correct, though (IMHO) poorly worded. I
don't know if that's because of a poorly-worded question, or a poorly-worded
answer, or a combination of both.
