31415926 Would indeed be a long way off if there were such a thing as a 
59th month. (inserting 0's and ignoring them to get 05 09 takes the 
arbitrary cheating to levels I can't abide)

Using DOY doesn't work either because there is no 592'd day of the year, 
and going with only the 59 is no good because of my objection to 
inserting zero's that don't actually exist.

Now the julian date is viable and even further off:
JD 3141592.000000 is
CE 3889 April 14 12:00:00.0 UT  Sunday
