How to add 10 days to a mdyy/ field

Interesting. Then I would think your assignment should
leave field dd with a date in it as long as field 5 has
a valid non-blank value in it.
Is it possible that you have a dummy field dd in
automatic processing whose declaration is overriding
the 8,mdy/ edit that you mention?
Also, and this is really a question for Ken, what
happens to the value of an 8-digit date if it is
approaching the PFCMARK limit as the result
of adding days to a date?
