Subject: HP printer code
A client purchased and installed a new HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 on a Windows 7
machine. Initially, landscape print jobs were not aligning correctly from
one page to the next using our default print code:
$1b &l2a0o8d3e80F
Changing the "3e" to "2e" resolved that. Portrait print jobs work correctly
with the "3e" setting (with the following exception).
For both portrait and landscape print jobs, when the print job is complete,
and the last page has successfully printed, there is still a "remnant" of
the print job remaining in the Windows print queue. One has to open the
print queue and cancel the remaining element before anything else can be
sent to the printer. This is not the last page of a multi-page print job, as
the last page was in fact printed successfully. The print queue shows
"filePro document", "Printing" ... "1 page" ... "9.78K".
Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas on how to resolve it? HP
tech support was of no help.

What is the print code you are using as a terminator code?
Are you using fp #3 initialize printer or #4 "reset" Printer.
