My understanding is (1) ChromeOS is not Linux, (2) it doesn't run Linux 
applications, and (3) people have gotten Linux to run on ChromeBooks.

Search for "running linux on chromebook".

If there is a good terminal emulator, I would think the answer is "yes".


Perhaps a "better" question would be "does anyone on this list have any 
first-hand experience with a ChromeBook, and in particular, using it with 
filePro?"
