Mac Parallels and the Delete key

Larry, I have not run Paralells, but I'm just wondering why the client
would not just telnet/ssh directly from OS/X. I have one client where I
connect from the Mac using open VPN, and for that I've had to use the
3rd-party iTerm program (with term type linux), but for all other
unix/linux client connections from the Mac, the Mac's built-in terminal
(as xterm) does the job, however:

-- I never work in color; and
-- on some newer linux boxes, I have to set PFTERM to mn (leaving TERM
at xterm) and, in filepro's termcap, I have to add "mn" to the heading
of the entry starting with "xterm".
-- I remap the default reserved function keys (I think F9 & F10) to
require ctrl key freeing them up for the filepro usage of those f-keys.
(I believe this is done under Mission Ctrl/Expose, depending on version
of OS/X.)
