It depends on what caused it.  Did something happen during a restructure? 
(Very difficult to recover other than a backup.)  Did a disk/network error 
occur while adding records?  (Very easy -- just expand by 1 record.)  Did 
someone restore just the key or data from a backup?  (Out of luck, unless 
you restore a matched set.)  Something else?
