I think I've been hanging out with the marginally literate in social media
and gaming circles, for too long a time.  Compared to some of the things
I've seen in the last few years, that notice looked halfway acceptable.

I've just about given up hope of people using the English language
properly.  That doesn't make its misuse any less depressing, however.
It's hard to jump on a stranger for sloppy grammar, when you let it slide
with your friends.

And, God help me, I've actually uttered the phrase, "My bad," at least
three times in as many years.  I believe this is the sign of a contagion.
The last time I made this mistake, I resorted to self-flagellation as a
deterrant to further occurrances.
