That's certainly a consideration, one that I addressed in an earlier post
(see quoted text below) after I figured out that Red Hat had changed to
UTF-8 a while back. I made the appropriate changes to bring it back into
the old LANG=C which fixed all the graphics characters except that little
bugger on the dclerk screens :-).
