Host Based HP-PCL 5 Printing

I guess what I was trying to say is,  for the first time (that I know of) 
Windows is using a Universal  PCL 5 driver instead of it being built into 
the Printer.   That is  NEW behavior is it not ?

I've never heard of "host based PCL" before, and it sounds like an oxymoron
to me.

However, according to the specs, the print languages it supports are:

         Host-based printing, HP PCL 5e

Note the comma.
