EXACTLY!

A problem with any of the newer CHEAP PCL5 printers is that they have
a VERY limited set of internal fonts. So if you are expecting to drop
this printer in as a replacement for a regular LJ with the standard 
45 scalable fonts, you have a problem. They may be OK for only printing
10 or 12 pitch Courier text, but if you want Arial or Times etc. you are
out of luck.

HP may sell a font DIMM to help you out, but at that point you might as well
buy a capable printer to begin with.
