Just install the 32bit compat libraries.
I would say vmware is rather overkill. Different distributions package
this up differently so I can't tell you the exact packages to install
without doing the same googling you could do. But it's really no big
deal. Just installing a package or package group from your normal
software manager. No config or anything just install a standard package.
You need them to run any 32bit binary anyways, not just filepro.
