Do you have break key turned off?
fP changed behaviour, from release notes 5.0.13

BREAK OFF wasn't honored within a browse lookup.
What we've had to do, to maintain the users' past behaviour, is to use the
Status command to save before the browse, turn break on, then restore the
status after the browse lookup. If your break key is always off before
executing your browse lookup, you wouldn't need the status command and just
turn on immediately before the browse, and back off after. Alternatively,
you will need to program exit keys from every affected browse lookup and
retrain your users if applicable.
