filesize issue

     It's not just Outlook.  Many Microsoft products have been exhibiting
that trait.  For example, I upgraded my wife's laptop to Windows 7, and now
she can't type a business letter in Wordpad anymore.  It adds an extra "end
of paragraph" blank line every time you press return, so that an address
comes out double spaced, like:

    I searched for some solution, but there aren't any easy ones.  So I
finally told her to type the whole address as one line, then insert spaces
until the line wraps and the page looks correct on "print preview".

    At least on Microsoft Word, you can change the setting to "zero extra
lines" if you set Word as your Outlook email editor.
