I still have the original Genix Menu Maestro manual.
All my systems use Menu Maestro as their menuing system.
That is why I can't convert them from Unix to Windows.
Or, for that matter, from SCO to Linux.
I would have to re-code all the menus.
Was (is) there a working Dos/Windows version of menu maestro?
I used it originally because of the "windowing" capability ---
Users liked it a lot better than the "one dimensional" filepro menus.
I don't use many of the more complicated commands -
It is primarily just a system that reads scripts and converts them to 
commands usually to execute filepro.
I have toyed with the notion of coding a native filepro interpreter that 
could read these scripts (the vast majority of which are quite simple) and 
execute them, but never had the time or the justification.
However, it would be cool to get rid of this unsupported third party 
package, thus giving me portability to any system on which filepro runs, and 
I am sure I could code a filepro substitute that would read the menu maestro 
scripts and execute the desired functions.
I am also pretty sure I won't do it, as I have lots of other things to do, 
and, as you indicate, who cares anyway?
Certainly not my end users.

I'm unemployed, and have nothing better to do, so I'm considering rewriting
the damn thing, finally, probably in Python.  Is there anyone left who still
cares?  We have the original manual, and the MenuEze manual, but alas, our
Genix manual walked off with a contractor (if that's you, we'd like it back
now, please. :-)
