My guess is that there is "too much" space on drive S. Some systems will
"fake it" and return 2GB as the amount of free space, others return an
error, and still others attempt to fit the numbers into a 32-bit value. I
don't know into which category XP falls.
You could upgrade to 5.6, which supports 64-bit file I/O on those platforms
which support it (and XP is one that does). Or, you can set PFNODF=ON to
turn off filePro's freespace check entirely. Note, however, that you are
then responsible for knowing how much you can fit with dexpand, and whether
of not a file restructure have enough disk space to succeed.
