filePro & Print Wizard question

While I can't advise on your options within filePro, I can mention some
things in Print Wizard that you may not be aware of:

1) The string following the "/f" is called the superfile name. The part
"pdf://" identifies it as our PDF output. The part "V:\" is a directory
location.

2) The superfile name can end with optional parameters, starting with "?",
including "?view", in order to view in Adobe Reader (or whatever is
configured in Windows) after creation. Thus:
   /fPDF://v:\?view

3) The output filename can also be included, such as:
   /fPDF://v:\myfilename.pdf?view

4) This string can also contain replacement variables, which Print Wizard
will expand. For instance, a portion can be replaced by the Windows
username. Another portion can be replaced by the name of the input file
(but I don't know if you can vary that in fP). We are a bit behind in
documenting these variables; contact me for more info.

5) You can control thins WITHIN the print file itself, by starting off
with a "bang command", such as "!PDF". This command can contain many
parameters affecting Print Wizard's operation. See manual and website on
"bang commands".

I hope that helps.
