Lonnie,

Ken's suggestion below to use pmaint to set the printer selection makes more
sense in the Windows environment then using net use etc.

By setting the location within filePro, one can then print to this printer
from any location if necessary.  

All of my clients are running Windows based systems some with network
printers and some with locally attached printers and other with a mix.  All
of the locally attached printers are installed with the same name making it
easy to route the printouts to the local printer.

Recently one of my clients purchased 2 HP printers with only USB output.
Since all of the others are routed to lpt1, I had to configure these local
printers to use print pooling, the usb port and lpt1.  This on  2 machines
with Windows7 pro.

So, unless there is a security reason, let filePro handle the specifics of
where the print output is to go.
