     JP is probably the preeminent Latin scholar of the group.  I don't
recall Bill V. ever chiming in on any Latin conversations.  My Latin
background consists of 12 years of Catholic School back in the "pre-English"
days of the church. 

    I think you're looking for, "illegitimi non carborundum".  However, that
is "mock-Latin".  It's not really a translation of your phrase.
