When I searched for "&", one of the first web sites that came up
was a table of these codes on Unicode.org. In my original email, I
acknowledged that I wasn't sure what to call these things, so I started to
call them unicodes. I did a little more research, but couldn't find any
better description of what they were at that time and I acknowledged that in
my initial post.
My apologies if I caused anybody any confusion. I know posts with
misinformation can show up years from now. I can imagine getting an email
10 or 20 years from now asking me what a Unicode is!
