I really wish when people asked you questions, you could answer them.
Generally when Ken in particular asks a question, it is rarely spurious
or rhetorical, it is for very specific reasons and is simply _required_
in order to proceed to the next step. Please answer the questions he
asks, or else, don't complain when you get no useful help.
You have said some flatly contradictory things which confuses things
utterly. You have said things that are either impossible, or, if true,
then they prove that you are already doing what you are asking how to
do. That doesn't make any sense. This means most likely that you are
simply mixing up the terminology and so we must nail that down first and
figure out exactly what you are and are not doing, what tools you do and
do not have available. That was the point of the question "what command
do you use to do this thing that you said you are doing" The answer to
that question will tell us things you have neglected to tell so far and
allow us to provide some sort of answer to the original question. If
it's not answerable because it's either not true or you don't understand
the question, then say that. We can't proceed in a useful way otherwise,
and some who could best answer will simply decline to even enter a
nonsensical conversation in the first place so you're missing out on
help from the very people who know the most about the topic.
