OT: view pdf file on a unix system

I though so! I think what you have is a three-tier system:

1) An AIX system where filePro runs.

2) A Terminal Services server.

3) A thin client.

When you run a terminal emulator (Anzio or whatever), it actually runs on 
2) and "serves" its screen to 3), while connecting to 1). It is CRITICAL 
that you know what processor the code is executing on.

If you want the user, who is looking at 3), to see a PDF, the PDF viewer 
must run in Windows, because it will be run on 2) and serve to 3). 

Alternatively, you could run an X package (technically an X display 
server) on 2), to be controlled by 1), and serve its results to 3).

This stuff is not for the faint of heart!
